Tollywood is the segment of Indian cinema dedicated to the production of motion pictures in Telegu language spoken in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The Telegu film industry originated with silent films in 1912 and with the development of film industry was released to world markets .Film were showcased in international film festivals and awards were won.

Tollywood movies are popular   and is a profitable film industry in India and is second only to Bollywood
